Scott and I went to the doctor today for the diabetes test and a sonogram. I am currently at 30 weeks. The sonogram was pretty interesting because you can see her really well now. We were able to see her hair, her face, and her hands all in good detail. The reason for this sonogram was basically to make sure my placenta wasn't too low. Well, we can all breathe a sigh of relief because my placenta got it's act together and got high. Three cheers for my placenta.
We found out that Scout is currently 4 lbs and is pretty big all the way around. Her measurements were more of a 32 week baby, so it looks like she'll be healthy for sure. Our doctor asked us if we'd like a New Year's Eve baby? As for Scout's bigger size...I asked the doctor if that meant maybe she'll be early. He said he couldn't be sure of that. But, he did reassure me that, tall women have good labors. Then, he went on to say that would be his motto of the day. haha.
Anyway, that is my update. I haven't heard anything on my blood test, so I'll assume I'm good to go. I'll be back there in 2 weeks. Yeah, I'm on the 2 week rotato now. Pretty wild. This Saturday is Scout's baby shower. She is excited. I'll write about it later on.

well, congrats on the strong placenta, just hope that it comes out as well just after Scout, or they have to physically remove it with their hands...oh, I may have said too much! More on the trials and tribulations after she is born, don't want to scare you!
ps - you look awesome, sorry i haven't been in touch lately! BABY SHOWER ROCKED! Kudos to Maria and the dirty diaper smelling!
