Halloween #2
She's lived long enough now to have experienced two Halloweens. I think she really enjoyed this one. She knows how to hold her bag out (silently) on porches and then say, "bye, see you." She knows how to eat candy without choking. Both are skills that will take her places I'm sure.
The weather was perfect for her tutu. More importantly, it was just cool enough for me to not sweat like a pig as I shuttled her around the neighborhood in her wagon and sprinted her in my arms up to porches when we lagged behind the group.
We started the evening off at the neighbors' house where we had pizza and hung out with lots of other kids.
She is eating pizza with her new BFF who lives across the street and is three. Her parents hosted the party for all of the families to begin the gauntlet here.
This is a picture of what kids do went they are waiting for the green light to attack the neighborhood with trick or treating. Scout was one of the youngest, and they all loved to push her around, literally. It got dark, but my camera went dead. I can describe a lot of running kids with flashlights and glow bracelets/necklaces. We marched in a hectic hoard down our street and up a couple of other blocks. Scout had a blast. I haven't been trick or treating in about 20 years. So, it was pretty fun for me too.

She is sooo cute in her tutu!
I love her hair! It makes the costume. Sounds like your neighborhood had a great plan for making the night fun.
I have already hidden the candy from Charlie; he ate WAY too much last night.
By the way, I see she's wearing her little pink crocks; Charlie wore his black ones with his costume. Perfect.
I like how she is chillin in her car and she and Batman are staring at each other.
I think those long legs have outgrown her car!

You haven't been T or T in 20 years? Man, I have been every year for the past, oh I don't know, 11 years. As long as Leah has known how to do it. This is the first year I didn't have to brave the cold as her big "sissy".
That picture of her in the car is awesome...she's like...uh, let's go already...someone push me. She looked pretty cute!
How fun-- and love the outfit! My fave is the one of her and her BFF. Too cute!
Man, Scout brings back memories of you in a tutu...LOL
There's my little balerina! Like mother, like daughter huh? Glad we got to see Scout in her costume-She was so adorable!! GiGi & Rich
