The Words That Run Through My Head:

Who are these kids, and when are their parents coming back?

Girl Power

It is official: We are having a girl. So far, all indications are very healthy, so we couldn't be happier.

She's only 5 oz right now and could fit into your palm (kinda like a small steak), but apparently with technology today, they can ascertain that in fact, it is a girl. My mom told me to go into the sono with a full bladder (to see her better) and Scott upted the ante by telling me to drink Dr. Pepper to make sure she was active. And, it worked because when she popped up on the screen, whoa nelly, she was jammin'! When we were leaving, Scott was like, "the Dr. Pepper worked, she was active", and I said, " yeah, why don't was just give her some crystal meth next time to get her all sorts of cranked up." I think we are already on track for parents of the year.

The fact that we are having a girl initiated a sigh of relief because, well, I know girls. So, I feel like I am already that much more prepared to handle this baby. Right now, I am seeing Scout as an accomplice on adventures. I can see the two of us going around the country in an RV in the summers. There will be camping, white water rafting, karaoke singing, hiking, picnicking....lots of picnicking, and many other "adventures" that will most likely include other cool girls. Of course boys can come too if they can hang.
