Who are these kids, and when are their parents coming back?

Six Feet Tall and Play-Dough Proof

Scout's artistic photo shoot of my man-hand and Brooke:Technically, I'm not alone. But it is my first day alone with the children because Scott went back to work today. I realize it is only noon, but I haven't had to man-handle a child yet, which seems like a good sign.

Sure, there have been tears (not me), but that is par for the course. I mean if Scout didn't get tired around 10:30 and cry and pout about something insignificant, then it just wouldn't be my life. And, in honor of month number two, Brooke has found her crying self, and really, it doesn't bother me that much. She can belt it out while I go to the bathroom or make a bottle, *blog* or fix something for Scout - - doesn't phase me. I guess that is what happens with the second kid; you just let it roll.

I mean, that's why liquor was invented I think. It was a mother that came up with it right?

Bring on the afternoon. I'm 6 feet tall and play-dough proof.

Does Brooke have her own "Koala Luxe" blanket, because if Scout is giving hers to her, then she really is the best big sister of all time.

Love the man hand, and yes, that is exactly why alcohol was invented. It takes on a whole new meaning as a mom.

No moms invented all the ways to hide the liquor in the day time...sprite bottle anyone? Is it bad that I am drinking with the first one? Oh, maybe it is because I have been a single mom for a week.

Kamie What a hoot..Funny I hid mine in a Sprite can after the college scene with the brats and craziness round here. Never drank when the kids were little, probably should of had a snort here and there.. giggle A for sure snort for the single mom week...
