To-Do List: Baby Post

I haven't posted in almost two weeks here. I apologize. Since I am not walking, it can be difficult to get pictures of tiny scout. I'll try for updates minus pics. Hope this isn't too boring...

  • Teething: She's been working on several teeth this week. It makes her not want to really drink bottles, and she is sensitive and cranky. My mom is SO helpful during times like these. I'm very thankful that I don't have to take her to daycare during teething time. Scout does look pretty cute with these new teeth though. Now her smile has balance.
  • Walking: She's not walking on her own, but we aren't in a hurry at all. She walks around furniture and will even balance without touching the furniture. And, miraculously in our eyes, she can stand up by herself without even using furniture to pull up. Amazing! heh.
  • Accessorizing: She loves to put long necklaces, beads, or lanyards over her head. This is one of our first signs that she may not emulate her mother, and actually like to dress up and use accessories.

Accessorizing! Yes! And good luck with the walking. Or should I say DO NOT encourage the walking. It's a whole new ballgame when they can run. Whatever happened to the good ol' days when you could put 'em down and they were still in the same spot when you came back?
