It is pretty odd for a 34-year-old kid at heart to wake up each morning and realize I'm the mother of two children. It isn't scarey, just weird. I never ever imagined myself in this situation. I never visualized how it would play out. I've let it just jump up and surprise me.So, I'm living one little surprise at a time. I guess that is how I try to keep my life interesting. Currently, I am surprised at how much less painless this motherhood round-two has been. I didn't enjoy Scout one bit as an infant because I was in pain and miserable, and just trying to get through the days and nights. However, this time around, I am physically able and I'm allowing myself to just appreciate the healthy newborn baby we have. She is getting spoiled by Scott, Scout and myself because we all pour attention on her (when we don't have her in her crib sleeping for hours and hours). I'm not as unhappy as I thought I'd be ....maybe it's because I know this is the last baby for us ever!

You have given me hope.. I always heard the second baby was easier than the first. ;)
You said you were in a lot of pain the first time around.. what was different? (yes, you can shoot me an email unless you just really want to share that with the world! lol)
