It's only pre-school, but it is all day, at one of our district elementary schools, and has a curriculum. Scout got to visit her school last Friday. She was so excited and sad when she couldn't stay longer. We told her on Monday she'd be going back from now on. I guess when you are three weekends don't quite register because she got up Saturday morning and independently dressed herself in a nice outfit then, came into my room and woke me up by saying, "I'm ready for school!"
Needless to say, today was very anticipated for us all. I put her on the waiting list when she was ONE year old. It seems she's been ready for this for about a year. Brooke is still in wonderful hands with our babysitter, so we are super greatful.
Pictured below: She ran into the class as soon as possible without a care for Scott or myself. It was like she picked up right where she left off on Friday. The teacher greeted her then took some boy to the urinal. So, well, we just walked away. Not very emotional. ha.

She's totally in her element. Probably going to be a teacher. And from the looks of the picture....Family Consumer Science at that!
The first picture says it all! Go Scout!
I knew she would LOVE going to school.
She looks so cute! So excited for school. That a girl! The cousins are getting so big, and I can't believe Brooke is one, and I haven't met her yet. :( One day I will make it back down there. I miss you guys!
NOOOO Christy, she told Ro and I a doctor! lol and Ro as far as the whole dropping off thing, I wonder sometimes myself if I will be a cryer?? My girlfriends call me and say "I cried today when I dropped off lil susie" and it seems as though those conversations totally bore me. I'm like why??? Its all part of the process....or maybe it's because I'm not a mom yet able to understand? Ehhhhh anywhooooo! But I'm sure Scout was great! She is your daughter and lil Miss.Independent!
