Scout got a staph infection on her face right before Good Friday. I was pretty thrilled to read that impetigo occurs "most commonly in children, particularly those in unhealthy living conditions." Well, I guess I should start picking up the unsanitary napkins and filthy diapers that I normally leave scattered about.
Geesh.
Anyway, thank goodness Jesus died and rolled away the stone. I need some good news these days. Speaking of the resurrection....
I was at a playground the other day, and there was a mom telling her daughter to get "her resurrection eggs" so they could leave. Before I could process the fact that she on-purpose wasn't calling them Easter eggs, she absolutely SCREAMED at her son to do such and such and get in the car. Oh the irony of it all.....
People are weird. Thank goodness I'm perfect. Filthy apparently, but perfect in so many other ways.
