After 16 hours of driving to the Sonoran Desert, we needed naps before we could take on Christmas. We've gotten plenty of rest and relaxation here while visiting Scout's grandparents, uncle, and cousins. Scout has been having a great vacation from her "daily grind."
At this point, Scout is still opening birthday gifts from Uncle David. She loves the singing pizza elmo.
We took time out to go to the park and enjoy the great weather and take in some football.
Scout and "Mimi" can't get enough of each other.
Christmas morning was full of spoiling.
Grandpa Jim got some park time with Scout, and he loved it.

Why does every kid love Elmo so much? My nephew can't get enough of Elmo.
