She's Like Her Mother

For me, it is often hard to decide between two of my favorite things: sleep and food. This weekend I witnessed Scout having this same dilemma. Take a close look at the picture and you will see that this tot is asleep and there is a chicken nugget lodged in her mouth. I mean, sorry she wants her nap and nugget too. So, I had to pull the car over to oust the nugget from her mouth. She like sort of woke up and was mad and shoved it back into her mouth then closed her eyes to resume her nap. I was like, what? My kid is nuts. So, I had to get firm and keep the nugget away from her. She wasn't happy, but sleep prevailed and she could not refuse the siren call of the car nap.

No, I didn't eat the remains of that nugget. Too soggy.

I'll tell you what, it must totally be a toddler thing! Kai fell asleep and kept doing the sucking thing, so I just naturally assumed he was dreaming that he was eating.. Then morning came, and what does he take out of his mouth??? A doughy piece of bread that he was sucking on ALL night! Wierdos, I tell you, wierdos! lol

That was totally going to be my question...so did you eat it? That's awesome. Hey, who doesn't like to nugget and nap? Those people are dumb.

I would have thought you would have ate it too - you have never wasted food.
