Zoo Day
Scout and I hit the Dallas Zoo yesterday with our buddies (Sally and Georgia). I didn't get a picture of the stingray exhibit, but that was a highlight. We were able to pet the stingrays, but Scout preferred I do most of the petting. We scored too because we got there right when the zoo opened, and we had all the stingrays to ourselves.
Penguins are always fantastic. Scout agreed.
It was Georgia's bday, so we celebrated 2-year old style.
This picture is from the children's zoo part where we were able to handle and feed the birds. Scout's holding a popsicle stick with birdseed stuck on it.
Finally, we ate our picnic and let the girls play in the stream at the children's zoo part. Scout started out walking in the water in her clothes (see video below), but we transitioned to the swimsuit. And, yes, she is wearing Aqua Socks. I always thought those were super dorky - especially on grown ups, but I love her wearing them because they protect her feet so well, and give her better traction. I have her wear them in the back yard around our pool.

Fuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
Agua socks are the bomb!
Ohhh, I can't wait to go places with Cooper. What a great day! Future play date for Cale, Franny, Zooey and Cooper!
Yeah, I have many time put my babies in dorky clothes I thought I'd never put them in.
I want to pet the manna's!
That looks like so much fun. I love going to the zoo and watching little eyes light up with excitement at all the new things they are discovering.
Man I am jealous! That looks like fun...I mean for me. I love the zoo.
