Halloween and Homecoming

Friday was a busy day. I dropped Brooke at the babysitter's and I took Scout to the pep rally. Then, I took Scout back to the babysitter's. In the afternoon, we grouped at Sally's and walked to the parade. The kids had fun there.  As night time settled in, I got both kids prepared for trick or treating. Scout had to get into costume, Brooke had to be fed and strollered. I pushed the double stroller full of Brooke and supplies down the street keeping up with the neighborhood pack of kids literally running house to house, while Scout was at the back of said pack just having a blast. We ended up at a neighborhood house for snacks.  Then, we were supposed to keep trick or treating but my kids and I just went home.  Scout didn't know the difference and they were both tired as could be. It was a big fun day, and by 8pm we were all exhausted.
