Almost One Year Old

  • I've sold off all the baby stuff on craigslist! (changing table, double stroller, excersaucer, diaper champ, etc)
  • I've switched to whole milk. No more formula!
  • I've "moved" all the bottle supplies off the counter and hid them in the cabinet.
I'm so ready to be done with "baby." Can you tell? But, Brooke is just a doll, and we have been enjoying our time this summer and are braced to go on our big trip to California and Arizona. Brooke will be having her birthday on the road!

These little ice pops came in handy when Brooke was sick on the inside, had a sore throat and teething at the same a couple of weeks ago. Good thing aunt charlie had bought them while she was here! We'd go out front on the porch and do this to just calm down when she was feeling really bad.

The mini-pops, they're a life saver. Mom was the original person behind that idea.
I love getting rid of baby stuff!

Some moms get all emotional, but not us!!

I think the next free week I have (after next week), I am going to pull down Cooper's clothes and go ahead and start selling on Craiglist. I think I am ready to sell the highchair and just buy one you strap on the chair. Brandon wants everything to go, but I don't think so just yet.

How can you resist that face? I think you mean you're ready to get rid of all the "stuff" you need for a baby. Can't believe my pumpkin is having her birthday minus her GiGi. And I'll be missing your 35th! Wish I was a stow-a-way on this one. Will miss all of you TERRIBLY!!

Austin and I just loved looking at all the lastest pics and video of the Brooke and Scout. Austin is the same way about the camera. I love Scout's hair!! Super chic and cute. Have fun on the road trip. Happy first to Brooke (almost.)...and for sure on all the selling get rid of it.

I can't believe she's one already!!! Carson is right behind her and it's going way too fast. My mom is going to have her hands full with 2 one year olds this Fall.
