Brooke had her birthday party in Lake Tahoe, California. It was fantastic because Scott's whole family was able to attend which is a very special treat since none of them live in Texas, so we rarely get to celebrate birthdays and holidays with them. Most of Scott's cousins have little ones, so it was a perfect age group for the big 1 party. Also, Reagan Beach in Lake Tahoe, was just a perfect grassy area with a playground over looking the lake. It was so nice and sunny, breezy but I wasn't sweating. Amazing.
I must publicly thank my sister Charlie who brought the awesome cupcake cake, balloons and itunes ;) Her husband cut the watermelon like the pro he is and Uncle David was invaluable for his set up and take down. And, good old Natalie was a gem as well. All of them helped Scott and I pull of a destination birthday. Thank you guys!
