Scout started soccer. She was PUMPED. I wasn't so excited because I know this is the beginning. It is the beginning of a long line of practices, games, tournaments and a general athletic career that can dominate our lives. BUT, I am happy that at least it isn't dance. Whew! I was suprised at how much better and happy I felt about taking her to soccer practice instead of dance. I guess it is about me and how much more comfortable I feel on a competitive playing field/court and not in a dance school room.
Enough about me. Scott took his new sports buddy to the sporting goods store, and they frolicked in the soccer section picking up anything Nike. Scout was so excited when she got home that she sat with her cleats and shin guards in her lap for about an hour and a half while she watched TV waiting for practice to start.

Here she is on the field rocking the keep-a-way game.

Maybe I can get used to this kid thing since maybe they are entering my comfort zone.
- My comfort zone= kids that dress themselves and play sports.
- My uncomfortable zone=kids that pee their diapers, don't sleep through the night and want to play dress up.
Don't worry, Brooke will get to do something in the fall. I'm not neglecting her extra curriculars, contrary to what GiGi thinks.

That pic of Scout totally looks like it could be a pic of you when you were a kid.
