Saturday we travelled out north of Wichita Falls to visit Dee Ann and her family. We met Dee at the local Pioneer Days parade which was pretty entertaining. Then, we went to her new place for the afternoon. It was nice to get out of town and enjoy some "small town Texas" for the day. At the ranch, Scout loved the chickens and dogs.

I was like some character out of Little House on the Prairie because I had the "baby on my hip" as we walked out to the barn to see the horses and all the work Chris is doing to update the stalls.
Here is a picture of Chris showing Kalico how to balance on a horse trough. Oh the shenanigans that go on at a ranch....
I always love visiting Dee Ann. I've been visiting her on the ranch since 1992! Next time I go back we might have to raise some heck just for old times.

Dang skinny arm in the second picture! And in the last picture Scott looks like he is thinking either Scout can do that or I can't wait until Scout can do that?
