Brooke

**Update 5/14**  Brooke is really walking...just standing up and then taking steps. What inspires her to make her steps? Food, duh. Daddy and GiGi, of course. Not so much mommy. I think we are just expectations in life.

Brooke loves to play with Scout a lot. She crawls supper fast to get where Scout is going, but now she is starting to try to walk. For the past two days we've had sightings of her first steps. She stands up about a foot or so from a couch, bed or table and then lets herself "fall" into it and takes a step or two. It is funny to watch her develop because it is polar opposite of Scout's.

Last weekend we went out with GiGi to the Hambleton family bar-b-que and the kids LOVED the bounce house. Scout was beet red in the face from jumping in there for an hour straight. Brooke go in on the action too. She would even stand at the back. The kids were really nice and let her have some fun without being crushed.

We checked out a new DVD/CD place thinking we might score some cheap Disney movies, but no. But, Brooke enjoyed the huge tables of DVDs for sitting, crawling and standing while her parents tried to shop.
