The Words That Run Through My Head:

Who are these kids, and when are their parents coming back?

Centripetal Force

We joined the high school physics class for a trip to Six Flags. Brooke stayed with our super baby sitter while Scott and I took Scout for her first amusement park experience. Scout didn't understand what that was, so I pretty much enticed her with the school bus aspect of the day. She was so excited about riding on "my school bus."

People were warning me that she'd get too tired or too scared, but she really did great. She was just super excited to ride the rides (kiddie rides). The only big rides were "Aquaman" with is like splash mountain or something. She and Scott got soaked which Scout of course, thought was great. We rode the train around the park and did a small, but fast roller coaster.

Then, she checked out. After lunch time Scout sequestered herself to the the stroller. And, that was fine. She didn't complain when we had to wait until after 5 for the buses to return. I just gave her gummy fish to eat, and all was well. Scott and I traded off going on roller coasters with our friends while one of use stayed with Scout in her happy place. Not a bad way to spend a "work day."

The photo below is where Scott got told to put his seat belt on. I kept laughing and laughing. I mean, really? Is he going to fall off the top of this big rig?
I like this one:
The weather was fantastic. It was a Monday, and there were no lines. Literally, we could walk up to any ride without a wait. Only like the top 3 rides had like a 15 minute wait.
