"She's Already A Leader" -Dad

Pre-School has been moving along for Scout. We feel like each day is better because of less crying. Scott does the drop offs and pick ups, and he says she is down to just pouting now in the morning. The teachers are super supportive and encouraging. They say she has a great vocabulary and uses her words well. (We think that's amusing since she only knows like 12 words.) They also say that she does sleep at nap time and her favorite parts of the day are music & dance and group play. Pretty cute.

Today I dropped her off since I had a late morning. When I took her in some of the others teachers said, "Hi Scout!" as we walked to her classroom. One of the teachers said, "Hi Scout's Mom!" Then, she went on to tell me that Scout is always dressed so well. I'm sorry but that made my day. I don't spend much money on her clothes, but Scott and I also don't want her to be "that kid;" you know, the funky kid? So, to any of you that have bought Scout some clothes or shoes, well you can feel that your work is not in vain. Sure she cried and kicked this morning when I peeled her off my shoulder and handed her to her teacher. But, hey...she looked good.

Great post RoRo. Don't they say that when you look good, you feel good? So there you go. Glad each day is getting better. Mom

She looks good because she's a little clothes horse!! She loves clothes (and shopping)!

I'm so glad it's getting better.. She probably has a really good time everyday but just doesn't want you to know yet!

I feel your daycare pain. I try to avoid the drop off as much as possible. I like the pick up much better.
