I've told some of you guys, but Scout has shown us that she knows how to use the term, "Shut Up." Over the last two weeks, Scout has put her finger up like a little sassy pants and told each of her parents at differnt times to : Shut Up!
Isn't that sweet? It has happened about 3 or 4 different times and all late right before bedtime. We just say that's not nice and put her to bed (which of course makes her quite mad). Then, we go in another room and laugh about it. I guess she learned it from another kiddo at school?
Yeah, we've seen some evidence of the "terrible twos." But, she is still pretty sweet because she says...on her own....
"I missed you" after a day of pre-school when we are reunited.
"Thank you" sometimes, when either Scott or I bring her milk or food, etc.
"Oohhh mommy, I looove you" while putting her hands on my face and her (snotty) nose to my cheek.
So, it all balances out I suppose. The sweet and the stubborn ebb and flow.

Oh goodness - if that is all you got for the terrible twos you are in good shape!
Did you ever think you would hear the words "oh mommy I love you" ?
LOL love me some Scout! Next time she tells you to shut up give her the finger wave back, saying..."Oh, no you DIDN'T!!!"
Oh Man, I can sure wait for that!!
How sweet:). Moments to make you laugh (or piss you off) and moments to make you melt. Who would've thought?
Her cousin was drawing pictures for her yesterday "for when Scout comes" she said.
Keep holding the reigns steady. She is definitely TESTING her bounderies. Keep using your super-nanny time out lessons. Remember: The 2 year old is NOT in charge on Ridgedale. GiGi
